Support for Multimedia Files
Import or even drag-and drop; audio, video and Flash files into mimio Studio to enhance lesson plans. mimio Studio now imports many file types including: Flash (.swf,.flv), video (mpeg2/4, avi) and audio files (m4p, aif). Once imported, you can play, pause or rewind files. They can also be resized to fit on the Notebook page as needed. It's easy to bring even more life to your lessons with Studio 6!

New Gallery for Fast Lesson Creation
The new Studio 6 gallery features more content comprised of ready-to-use backgrounds and pictures for a range of subjects and grade levels. And now, it's also faster to find content. With a nested folder structure, it's easy to see what is available and a live search delivers a fast-find option to busy teachers.

Slim Toolbar and More...
The new slimmer toolbar fits beside the Notebook page without protruding onto it, giving access to tools at all times. An onscreen trashcan makes deletions a click and drag away. You also lock objects or set the opacity level of objects in order to layer them together.

Create and present
With a host of drawing tools and an extensive gallery, including graphs and maps, it is easy to create entire presentations. Incorporate text, images, and pictures from any application or the web easily and quickly. Then use the same tools and features to interactively present your lessons.

Annotate
You can use any of mimio Studio's drawing and editing tools to markup applications and web pages. All annotations are automatically saved for later editing, printing, or exporting.
 

Draw, Write, Type, Add Pictures and Color
Sketch, use shape tools, write, type, import images and add color as you like, all with the easy-to-use mimio toolbar. Even capture images from the web with the screen clipping tool for fast drag-and-drop onto your Notebook page.
 

Focus attention
With a host of interactive tools it has never been easier to direct the attention of your audience. A spotlight tool allows you hide the entire screen, except for a region you wish to focus on. A reveal tools can be used to progressively reveal bullet points and information in any application.

Record digital ink
With mimio Studio's wake-on-write technology digital ink is automatically recorded from your whiteboard. With up to eight available marker sleeves and two eraser sizes, mimio capture devices provide the most flexible and advanced ink capture system on the market today.

Writing Recognition
With the mimio Writing Recognition Add-in for mimio Studio, recognizing handwritten notes has never been easier. Instantly insert text into any application using the mimio Text Tool or use the recognition feature in the mimio Notebook to convert handwritten notes into typed text.

Recorder
With the mimio Recorder Add-in for mimio Studio, recording a presentation or training video is only a click away. mimio Recorder can capture a live desktop, synchronized with audio, as a video file. The recorded desktop can be played back in most media players.
