My microphone does not seem to be working?

Right click mimio studio in the task bar and select ”settings” When the mimio studio settings dialogue box appears, select mimio recorder and make sure that the audio quality is selected.

The software is asking for a password?

No password is needed. Just make sure that the mimio capture bar is plugged into into the computer, then right click on mimio studio in the task bar, then click on “settings”.




Then click on “software update”, then click on “Check for updates”.

Is the Write Anywhere Text Tool feature of mimio Writing Recognition available on Windows Vista?

The Write Anywhere Text Tool feature within mimio Writing Recognition is not available on Windows Vista. This feature may be added in a future mimio Studio release for Vista, however, it is not available with the current release of mimio Studio when used on Windows Vista. We are advised how that the new release will be sometime in mid 2008.
