Further Mathematics/Mathematical Methods: Fraine Mahoney has, for the past eight years been teaching Mathematics at the Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School, a selective entry State School. She has held various positions of responsibility including Mathematics Key Learning Area Co-ordinator, Technology Mentor and MAV Maths Talent Quest Co-ordinator. Fraine has had extensive experience in the teaching of Units 1- 4 Mathematical Methods and has developed many curriculum materials, including application tasks, for these courses. Each year she has addressed education students from the University of Melbourne regarding mathematics teaching strategies and has also worked with gifted students at Shelford Girls’ Grammar.
