MimioTeach is a portable low cost device that attaches to any whiteboard or to virtually any other surface, connects to a PC and when used with a data projector, allows users to control desktop applications and documents directly from the whiteboard. Users can save substantial money over the cost of fixed systems, retain existing board space and still have a device that is portable. EdWest has several positions available to demonstrate our educational technologies to schools, colleges and training organisations. Primarily this will be using our mimio range of hardware, which include mimioteach and its associated document camera, voting systems and white board capture. This position would suit a teacher who is retired, part time or on leave, as a requirement will be the ability to run demonstration sessions during school hours, for about 40 minutes, to small groups of teachers/trainers and also at various local educational conferences. No previous sales experience is necessary, but teaching experience is, as is an interest in and understanding of information technology. Both primary and secondary teachers are encouraged to apply. Although it is not a requirement that teachers have any experience of the use of interactive whiteboards, it is highly desirable. The position has a very broad brief as we are looking for someone that is friendly and outgoing and can engage others in our vision. Your role will be to demonstrate our products to retail clients. You will need to be mobile as all presentations will take place at the clients address, although there will be a great deal of flexibility in the timing of presentations. You will have the ability to maintain, implement and add your ideas to the presentations. Remuneration is excellent and will essentially be on a commission basis with ta small retainer. For further information about the position, applicants can phone Reg Reberger on 0411 773804. Applications, including a CV and covering letter can be emailed to Reg Reberger at regreberger@edwest.com.au as soon as possible. Interviews will be held in Perth.
